Definitely strong enough but does not extend out enough to readily hold a bath towel.

But the hooks are excellent.
These hooks worked perfectly for what I purchased them for. My only complaint was with the screws that came with them. I broke the tops off three screwing them in. A bit flimsy. But the hooks are excellent.

Great hooks at a great price. Used to make hat racks for my grandsons never ending collection of baseball hats. He loves them. Mounted them on MDF racks using different screws for a little more of an industrial look. I intend to order more.

Screws are horrible now trying to figure out how to cover up the ones with broken heads off. Good thing I don’t plan on using all 10 and can use the other screws when I move the placement.
