Can this be used for skincare purposes?

As a chemist, I don't see how, though it probably will be fine for decoration. Gold, if it really is and not brass, is very inert chemically, so it is very unlikely to either hurt or help your skin. It's a good reflector of light and heat, so it can be used to protect against uv overexposure., but I don't see any other skin benefit.

Hi, I am new to leafing. I will be using this on a sizeable wood piece. By your description, I get 100 sheets for the price. Is this correct?

The sheets are 2in by 4in and that is the correct price. The seller included a letter asking for an endorsement of the product and I have no problem giving it even though I wanted to review my order to see if it was described as 4in by 4 in. Still, would have purchased the sheets. Good luck and you will not regret getting into leafing. I have also used the imitation gold leaf with much success.
