Everything a coaster is supposed to be, and nothing it's not.
My favourite style of coaster. They protect furniture from hot drinking mugs. They can hold and soak up the liquid that comes off 'sweating' cold drinking glasses in the summer. They don't stick to the bottom of glasses. They are soft so they will not scratch furniture. And if they get soiled you can hand wash them and let them dry. Everything a coaster is supposed to be, and nothing it's not.UPDATE: The only way I could improve on these coasters would be to use smaller and slightly less tightly wound rope to allow moisture to be better absorbed. I'd also like to see a slightly larger size to accommodate larger glasses, or clumsier people, ;)

Amazing look and even better function!
Great set of coasters - love how there are 6 instead of 4.These are good quality and went very well with out nautical theme. The best part about them is that they are absorbent, so condensation off cold glasses doesn't just pool on the coaster and drip everywhere when you lift the glass.Would actually buy 6 more of these.
