This is a great little book to carry around in a pocket or bag and "teabag" yourself in French idioms/grammar. It is "keyed" to a text (see above) so the CD included is not much use (toss it). If you are doing the sort of "free range grazing" approach to getting familiar with French, this suits well. The pedagogy of the book is very good. This is the book used at alliance française for teaching the course. Other than this book you just need a good dictionary and a grammar practice book and you are set.
