Can never go wrong with 3m tape. This stuff is super sticky and strong. Good stuff. Would work great for vent visors, or any other automotive applications.

I used this tape when installing a carbon fiber spoiler on my Mercedes-Benz CLS 550, and it’s been over 4 years with no issues. I got this 3m molding tape to reinstall the molding on my f150 that had finally started coming off after 29 years. I had put this off because I honestly didn't feel like cleaning up the old adhesive off the truck as I knew that wasn't going to be fun, and it wasn't. Once cleaned up and ready, reinstalling was a breeze with this product. This 3m tape has excellent adhesion and should keep the molding on there for years to come. It took close to half of the 15ft on this project but it still gives me plenty for the next, which is my vent visor on my driver's door. It's been hanging on by a thread for a while. I have no doubt this 3m tape will do a great job getting it back on good and tight as well.

This stuff means business—once it’s on, it’s basically part of the family. The grip is impressive, holding trim, panels, or whatever project you throw at it through rain, heat, and highway speeds. The flip side? Removal is a battle you won’t win cleanly. I used it to reattach a loose car molding, and it hasn’t budged since. Tape is legit, definitely recommend. Used it for a spoiler on my car because the spoilers stock tape was not strong enough to hold the spoiler when I opened my trunk. I replaced it with this tape and now it doesn’t budge, works super well. Super easy to apply, and it’s not super thick so you can’t notice it. Of course, sticks well. Haven't tried to take it off other than a light tug, and it doesn’t move, so I couldn’t tell you if it will destroy the paint or not.

If you've used 3M VHB tape you know it works great. I've used it for everything from fish tank sumps to automobile spoilers and trim. This time it was to replace the knock-off double sided tape that came on my upper roof spoiler for my car. The key for this tape is to use it on non-porous material like glass, gloss auto paint (not household wall paint), metal, aluminum etc. Make sure to prep the surface and do a final clean wipe and dry with alcohol before applying the tape. Make sure to apply at recommended temperature range as well. This stuff holds incredibly well if you do your part to prepare the surface for initial adhesion. On my previous cars I've used it for trunk lip spoilers for over 10 years and it holds up to the weather and abuse. never failed or peels. Its my go to tape for such applications. Its not meant to be easy to remove. I bought the 0.5" width in this listing as there are 2 strips down my spoiler. one strip is .4" and the other is .5" I'm glad they sell many different sizes. This particular width actually comes in 3M retail packaging instead of cut from stock.
