Gonex MOLLE Bottle Pouch, Drawstring Water Bottle Holder

I chose this product because it attaches to a regular belt with two straps, rather than a single loop that can damage a leather belt or a clip that strains and tears a belt loop on your pants. It comfortably and securely holds 16.9 ounce bottles and the mesh bottom vents any condensation. Safely secures multiple bottle sizes and types.

I'm always wary of gear that is not made in the USA. That being said, I think this piece is definitely an exception. I'm happy with the quality and the construction and the molle webbing worked great attaching it to the side of my backpack. I have been fitting a 36oz Yeti Rambler water bottle in it. The fit is definitely snug, however there is room left over to close the draw string down a bit. As I said, its snug, and it fits, and it holds my water bottle no problem. I only have one negative. Because the Rambler 36oz is so snug, putting it in the Gonex water bottle holder can be a challenge if you're trying to do it one-handed. Two hands, no problem, but trying to do it one-handed is not doable. Now with a smaller capacity water bottle, this problem would go away. Other than that, the holder is great. It's legit water resistant, and the mesh bottom is a nice touch so liquids can drain out. As previously stated, the molle straps are great quality and are very tight and secure when you attach it to a backpack with molle attachments. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. Highly recommend this one.

I searched for quite awhile before landing on this molle water bottle pouch. This one seemed to be from a reputable brand, a decent design, and is assembled well enough. My use case is not attaching to a pack but attaching to my molle panels in my Bronco- I use this as an oversized cup holder. For that, it works. I can fit 24oz (~3" dia) insulated bottles no problem. Sometimes I can do this one-handed; other times not (see below). My wife prefers the larger 26, 32, and 40oz (~3.5" dia) bottles. While these bottles fit, they are quite snug and require two hands and a bit of force. It works, but with a couple things to be aware. 1. The molle straps end a ways from the ends leaving the pouch a bit unsupported and floppy. A bit of extra effort on the weave firms it up some but it isn't solid. 2. The opening is unstructured fabric with a drawstring. Bottles easily catch on the drawstring or fold the material in on itself entirely. The fix is to reach in and pull the opening up and out. 3. The snaps that secure the straps are thick and they dictate how much weaving one can do with the straps (the buttons have to line up to lock in). I think any of the following would take this product from good to great: * Improve support of the pouch, perhaps by taking the straps all the way to the edges, both top and bottom. * Improve the structure of the opening, perhaps by offering the option to have a fixed opening adding support to more of the opening. * Improve the flexibility of the attachment, perhaps by ditching the snaps and using velcro instead. I've been experimenting with the opening. I replaced the drawstring with a large hose clamp (70-90mm) to keep the opening from snagging. It absolutely fixed the issue and I can insert my 24oz bottle one-handed, every time. It did narrow up the opening, however. At 88mm (plus the fabric folders), a ~3.5"dia bottle won't go in. Maybe a bigger hose clamp might do the trick.

I'm an organic farmer/ gardener, work with horses, walk dogs, hike, kayak...pretty much outside all the time. Received this just in time to use when I started helping a friend with their yard work... didn't want to waist time walking to whatever safe place I left my drink whenever I needed one. This is the best thing EVER!! Seems very sturdy. Surprised to find that the mesh bottom is actually multiple layers and is sorta padded, I was worried that the mesh wouldn't be strong enough, but now seeing it in person it feels very strong! It fits a pint and a half Ball jar pretty good, it sits below the top of the pouch, but just push up from the bottom and you can grab it just fine. I have it strapped to my belt, yes it is a bit heavy, but that is why I wear suspenders and I can hardly tell it's there. Doesn't flap or bounce around. Have also put a 16oz glass bottle in it, again it sits low in the pouch, but it doesn't wiggle around. Have kept it strapped to my belt since I received it, doing yard work witch involved bending over and raking, cleaning up manure, gardening, jumping over a brook while walking the dog, riding my horse, working my horse in harness. Can't say enough good about this. Yes, people may find the straps a bit stiff to work with, but you ultimately want something that is sturdy and wont come undone while you are using it. Can't wait to hike and kayak with it, will be awesome!!! Wish I had it at the first farms I worked at, would have been a life saver!!! Thanks for making such a great product!!!

This product is excellent on several counts. First, the molle webbing makes it effectively able to attach to any bag or belt with ease. Depending on what exactly you attach it to, it can be very stable. It holds it shape well, so taking a bottle out and putting it in is really quick and pretty effortless. There is a draw strong on top, but unless you put this thing upside down no bottle would fall out anyway. That said, I like the option. Another excellent count to this item is it's durability. I keep this strapped to the outside of a backpack that goes everywhere with me. More often than not it gets smacked on things, dropped from various heights, and in general bounced around, all while carrying a full water bottle. Even after all that and several months, it has held up. I've purchased two of these at this point because they're so good. Last, the size is great. It will hold even the largest Nalgene that I'm aware of perfectly, almost as if it was made for that. For smaller bottles, the height of the cavity ensures they will stay put regardless of size. If you need quick access to a water bottle and don't want to worry about compatibility or any of the other features I've mentioned, this is an excellent choice.

Got this for my 32 ounce Cataki water bottle as way to attach it ro my gym bag, and it fits great!! Very Happy

I have been looking for something I can attach to the dog's harness, so they can carry their own water bottle. This works well.

Good quality, 3 stars because it’s slightly too narrow to fit the stainless steel camp cups that nestle Nalgene bottles. Nalgene bottle itself fits well (if snug). The two snap straps works on either a regular belt or a backpacking belt. The pouch is a bit too floppy for reliable one-handed return of the water bottle to the pouch.

I got this to attach to my old Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW camera bag, which I love, but I don't want to take up internal space with a water bottle. It attached perfectly to the attachment loop on the side. Not particularly important, but the fabric and look match pretty much perfectly. The pouch has two strong straps with metal snap-button closers. There's also some webbing loops under the straps, which I used to thread the straps though after I attached it to by bag, thus tightening them up, and meaning that the pouch and bottle don't swing around so much. The pouch is bigger than I expected, which isn't a bad thing. It'll easily fit a 500ml water bottle, probably a 750ml one. The drawstring pulls tight, so even smaller bottles will be securely held. Construction of the pouch is robust. The base of it is a mesh that would allow spillages to drain out. Very happy that this has added functionality to my camera bag.

Perfectly fits pathfinder canister from cookset. Has molly straps for fitting to bag or personal belt. Has additional moly on case if you need to attach something to it. Has pullcord with plastic spring toggle.

If you are looking for a water bottle holder that works with the OneTigris tactical EDC shoulder bag, you found it. Very good match up in terms of size, fit, compatibility and quality. It's 900D, and the one I got has really good stitching. Molle is to spec, and lined up with shoulder bag I mentioned. On my pouch, one row of horizontal Molly (in the middle of pouch) overlapped with a horizontal Molly strip on the shoulder bag, so I just zip tied is there. Worked great. There was a slight smell on this product when I took it out of the bag. I just put it over a floor vent for a couple of days, and the smell went away.
