Beeswax is also an anti-oxidant and has some free radical-scavenging ability. Providing greater permanence on skin and lip surfaces, beeswax has emollient, soothing and softening properties and helps the skin retain moisture. Even after processing, beeswax remains a biologically active product, retaining its anti-bacterial properties.
