Walthers Trainline Flatcar-Ready to Run-Trailer-Train 931-1463 HO Scale Model Railroad - Freight Model

In my opinion Walthers trainline products have enough detail to be acceptable and have the potential to become an outstanding model with personal additions. The bones are there and for me that’s attraction of modeling with Walthers models. The internet has a plethora of pictures and videos of ideas to achieve exactly what a person wants.Weight is to scale, came with couplers and painted insignia was above average with this model.

Nothing is more frustrating than dealing with cars that uncouple while running the trains. Also, I don't like spending more money on changing out the couplers. I love the Walthers cars. They're a bit pricey but its money well spent. The cars do not feel have that cheap feel and the couplers keep them connected well. I can put 30 cars together and there are zero issues with decoupling. The nice thing about the flat cars is that the kids can put matchbox cars and army men on them. Cars like this provide the opportunity to have some interaction with your layout.

Received my flatcar today. Love it. Only issue i had with it was one wheel truck was loose when I got. From the looks of it, it came loose during shipping. Does not look to be a manufacturer issue. Packaging looks good but does have a little room for movement. Easy fix in the end though. Runs well and couples good with other cars. For a flat car, the weight is better then the tank cars. Overall pleased with item and do recommend this car and company

TTX flat car, nice flat car, good price. Walther's quality. good for my young collector, solid build so less prone to parts breaking off. standard knuckle couplers are compatible with most newer train cars.

Hi.These flat cars are my favorit type of rolling stock,simply because you can do so much with them,ie i cut wood toothpicks in half glue them into cars stancheons snip points of and use an black indeleble marker on them,using fine twined string i tie down offcuts from flexi track,bogies,axels etc. CIAO.
