I've bought so many solar lights and I've never had any issues with them, but I did with this one. It didn't come charged at all it was totally dead so I had a hard time telling if I even turned it on or not when I put it in the sunlight. Eventually it did charge and come on at dark and I changed the mode to what I wanted. Every night it would come on at dark and I'd put it on the mode I wanted and it would stay in that mode for a few hours and then when the battery would wind down the mode would change to crazy flashing randomly every few minutes. I even tried a fully charged better solar battery and it did the same thing. I thought maybe it wasn't getting enough light but it continued to do this after a week of full, sunny days. So, I gave up and returned them. When I put them in the box to return the on/off button wouldn't work so they were lit up in the box LOL. I think mine were just defective. I used these inside so, they never got wet or anything. I gave them 3 stars because I was able to return them. I also contacted the company to ask them if any of this was normal and if it was getting enough light...they got right back to me telling me to return instead of answering my questions. I had been hoping it was something else so I didn't have to return them.

Not waterproof. One hard rain a couple days after I purchased and they stopped working!very disappointing and I don't have the time to stand in line at post office to return. Not happy

They work great on our outdoor decking. The modes are a bonus.

Returning used inside and won't hold a charge have to turn on and off manually tried different brand batteries no luck
