Would this work as a handle for the roof top of a golf cart?

If you want to fasten it to the top don't see why not. I modified mine with putting a gromet on the ends and used a fastener to hook it to carry my object, worked great.

How much weight will these hold. my folding table handles broke. do you think i could use these. i have a place to screw into metal or plastic. thank

I used these for mine as well when my 6' table straps broke. Didn't fit exactly as the original handles but husband managed to attach where they would work.

These were standard replacement size and should fit most.

Do these come with the installation hardware? (Rivets, & washers)

No they didn’t come with the rivers I used the ones I already had which was good because I new they would fit. They did have pre drilled holes which made them easy to install.
