Does this use the iPhone 11 lightning connector?

I have an iPhone 8 but if the lightning cord is still the same, it should be fine. However, this reader will not work if you have updated software past iOS 13.0.

Can I use this to transfer pics from my phone to a micro sd card?

I assume you can also transfer pics from the iPhone to a regular SD card as well - correct?
