Really effective
I give these candles a 5 star rating because they are excellent quality. The citronella is strong smelling for the size of the candle which helped keep the bugs away. We used these for an outside party that we had, and they are not fast burning candles like some that you buy. After the party I put these candles around my patio and my front porch, so when we sit outside at night I will light these candles to keep the bugs away and they work fantastic. I really love these candles, and I will be buying more of them for our next up coming parties. I would recommend these candles to anyone that is having an outside party, or having friends over for a BarB-Que, or just likes to sit outside at night. They really work good.

The mosquitoes hate it and so does my neighbor's worrisome kid that would come over and pester me while sitting on the porch. Now I get to read my paper in the afternoons with no pesty mosquitoes or kid. Two birds with one stone, or several candles. LOL

Works great, however candles do not last that long. I would definitely buy the bigger pack that was a better value. Also make sure you have a jar to hold the candle, that will give you longer burn times.

Meh!
I definitely wouldn't re-buy. It looks like a lot but melted fast. Didn't last long at all. I love Citronella smells and my place is one story, not large. Burned 2-3 at a time because you couldn't smell it.

Don't bother. They don't last long, AT ALL! Super bummed. Pay a bit more for quality.
