Misleading information
Filter only lasted 4 months - maybe around 250 cups. Says on the box 5,000 cups - very misleading - and becomes a very expensive exercise if every 4 months I have to change an expensive filter

Effective Water Filter That Enhances Coffee Quality and Machine Longevity
I am very pleased with the Philips AquaClean Original Calc and Water Filter for my automatic espresso machine. Shipping was prompt, and the filter arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. The seal was intact, and it was ready for installation right out of the box. The product quality is excellent. The AquaClean filter uses advanced ion-exchange and micro-porous filtration to reduce limescale and impurities in water before it enters the coffee machine, helping preserve machine components and support consistent brew quality. When installed properly, it can allow you to go longer between descaling cycles—up to many hundreds of cups before the machine’s descaling alert returns—provided the filter is replaced regularly. The result is cleaner-tasting coffee and potentially fewer maintenance interruptions. Philips USA Installation was straightforward with the click-and-go design, and the filter fit securely into the water reservoir as expected. After activation, my machine recognized the filter and adjusted accordingly, which added convenience and peace of mind that I was using the correct original accessory. Philips USA From a value standpoint, this genuine Philips filter offers very good performance for the cost. It supports taste quality and machine maintenance without requiring specialized tools or frequent descaling, thereby saving both time and effort in the long run. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable water filter that enhances the coffee brewing experience and helps protect the longevity of your espresso machine. I would confidently recommend it to any Philips or Saeco coffee machine owner who wants better water quality and reduced maintenance hassle.
