noise cancelling headphones

I have Bose over the ear noise canceling headphones and the hump on the top of the pillow definitely was in the way. My solution was to remove the memory foam from the case and cut the top hump off. It now works great and is one of the nicest neck pillows I have used.

Will the iPhone 7 pluses fit?

Yes! The little pouch on the side is kind of small ,but the iPhone 7+ should fit in the pouch.

I am 5'7" and slender build - the pillow is supposed to be one size fits all, but I cannot get the pillow tight enough on my neck to keep my neck from falling forward when the clasps are tied in the back. Any suggestions?

Can this be used while sleeping flat in bed?

Why would you want to use it for sleeping flat in bed? I wouldn't think so...that's not what it's designed for so there would be no support for the upper part of your head. If you turned on your side you would have neck support but no head support.
