Why is this considered a high watt rather than a low watt density element? What is the length and thread size?

The heater with 1 inch NPT flange has 350mm tube length. and it has 5500w wattage.

Whirlpool model e2f40rd045v. says for 1 phase 240v, 4500 for lower element. will this element work with my water heater?

It depends on whether your existing element is a screw in type or a bolt on type. This is a screw in type element. So if your water heater is a 240 volt with screw in elements then it will work.

Will this fit Ruud pe-30 d hot water heater?

Yes. It's 100% compatible with all water heaters that have ever been made. Including European models which use metric water flow.

I have a 240v hydro turbine that produces 1600w. Will this element work for me

We think you shoud use the lower power heater which is smaller than 1600w
