Can these be used left handed?

I am left handed and have six or seven of these pairs and use them all the time. They are my favorite scissors. (I'm a quilter and I cut out shapes in great detail). I keep two pairs in my studio, at home, and travel bags. When they wear out after cutting paper, I get a new pair. This is a fantastic price.

Do these scissors have a straight edge or serrated cutting edge?

These scissors have a straight edge and do precision cutting when cutting out quilt pieces.

Where are these made? The handle says Germany, but that's not listed in the item description anywhere. Thanks.

I have two pair of the Gingher 5" Knife edge sewing scissors, and really love them. One says Germany, one says Italy. Phone number on the package for Fiskars Brands, Inc. in Madison WI is 1-866-348-5661. They could probably tell you.
