This is a beautifully crafted Damascus Steel Chef Knife with Buffalo Horn handle. This knife is a 100 % handmade Damascus steel. The Blade of the chef's knife is a hand forged steel Blade, with a steel quality of 1095 to 15N20 high carbon Japanese steel. 200 layers, and the heat treatment is 52-56 RC. This handle of this knife is full tang, made out of Buffalo Horn. It has a two brass pins spanning the blade, with a mosaic pin embedded in the middle. This knife has one of the best blades on the market, so make sure not to miss out! This knife is a must have for any chef or cooking enthusiast!

Beautiful knife.....
Knife arrived today and upon removing from the packaging it is a stunning knife.......that's about all the good I can say so far. It isn't sharp, not even close. And upon closer inspection of the edge the whole blade is warped. Edge side has a slight wave while spine is just bent ever so slightly near the tip. I'm guessing the warps and waves occurred during the heat treatment, but quality control is obviously lacking. The Damascus itself is free of voids or cracks and has a nice pattern. It remains to be seen how it retains an edge since I have to sharpen it first.Shipping was fast and arrived on time. Will update if it doesn't hold an edge.

Well worth the money.
Really nice knife. It needs to be carefully sharpened but then holds an edge well.

I bought these knives for my son who is a chef, when he got them in the mail I thought he was going to pass out!! The knives are beautiful, very sharp and functional . Great buy

Don't do it.
Garbage. Doesn't hold edge, and rusts asap.

Mine didn't even come with copper guards like it advertises
False advertisement beware ! These are not chef knives ! It reminds me of something you would see sold at a flea market . Mine didn't even come with copper guards like it advertises . I bought it as a Christmas gift and I promise you I will not be giving it away to anybody for a present it's embarrassing !
