This is the only face mask I use! I STRUGGLED with cystic acne for my entire middle school and high school years. After hearing about this mask on social media, I thought why not give it a try. LET ME TELL YOU! The BEST and only facial I use now. When I feel or see a pimple coming, I do a facial, sometimes the next day or the day after- that pimple dries up. When I pop a pimple, I sanitize the pimple w rubbing alcohol and then place this mask on for 10 minutes- I found this method affective for my skin and prevents the pimple from coming back or spreading. I know a lot of people are against putting alcohol on your face, but this method works best for my skin/ pimples- may not work for everyone but I love it. Make sure to moisturize your skin after washing off the mask. Yes it smells like eggs, but it does wonders for my acne and that's why I keep repurchasing it! I wish I had a picture of my cystic acne before using this to prove how much this works but I was so self-conscious and deleted all my "bad acne days"

This stuff truly works! I kid you not! It works great on me and I have oily skin and have had acne all over since I was a kid and I am now a 30 year old woman who still suffers from acne breakouts. Of course I just get acne here and there, it's not nearly as serious as when I was a teenager. I have been going to the dermatologist regularly since I was young and I was always using Retin-A, and as a teenager Retin-A was affordable with insurance. However, as an adult Retin-A is not covered by most insurance companies and is hard to get a hold of so I had no choice but to use over the counter products most of the time as an adult. To this day I still never put oil on my face as I was told by my dermatologist and everything that goes on my skin has to be oil-free AND comedogenic (does not clog pores) and (I try my VERY hardest) to not touch my face because of all the bacteria on one's hands, but I had a hard time finding something affordable and over the counter to combat my breakouts. Salicylic Acid is not strong enough and Benzoyl Peroxide seems to make my skin produce more oil and (I know how its supposed to work...it's supposed to bring the oil and dirt out of your skin so the pimple is not so deep and it actually brings the pimple to the surface so it can naturally work itself out and off of your skin) when the pimples come to a head on my skin I am WAY too tempted to pick at my skin causing way more acne than I had in the first place so I was kinda stuck. I am able to get prescription acne medicine such as Adapalene which is expensive with insurance and you also have to include the cost for the specialty doctor visit making it unrealistic to keep in my bathroom on the regular or even use all over my body so when I discovered Sulfur Ointment I was so happy to see how effective it is in keeping my skin under control, not only with acne but with other random minor skin problems. I discovered it by accident when I was trying to keep bugs off of me I was told that sulfur ointment will keep all kinds of bugs off of me....I later found this particular brand by accident and read the reviews and saw that it is said to be an effective acne fighting tool and the reviews were RIGHT!! I was soooooooooo SOOOO HAPPY TO FIND THIS because I can order the 3 packs for so cheap and they last a while and I can actually apply them to the breakouts I sometimes get on my back and chest and arms without worrying about the cost of having to use so much of this product regularly and all over so without this PARTICULAR BRAND of Sulfur ointment I don't know what I would do. It works fast in comparison to other products. It really doesn't dry out my skin unless I use it daily for a while and don't use moisturizer and go in the sun alot. It does not have any adverse side effects and it actually drys out the pimples as opposed to creating this huge process of pulling the zit out from under my skin--like Benzoyl Peroxide--making me extremely inpatient and end up popping the zit and making it worse....it's affordable. It doesn't sting. And when I do end up popping zits besides myself and better judgement this ointment clears that mess up instead of allowing it to get worse. I have so many good things to say about this product I could go on forever. I get this all the time and always order the 3 pack and it has had amazing results and has saved me so much money on dermatologist visits as well as other products. I am so happy I finally found this stuff because it has saved me from alot of crying and hopelessness with this acne curse that has followed me the majority of my life and beyond (considering my mother who is twice my age still suffers from acne---obviously mild acne but still!). This is a GREAT product and does work for getting rid of acne, however I have ordered this product 5 or more times now and find it to be very inconsistant-sometimes it smells very strong of sulfur and works excellent, sometimes the sulfur smell is very faint and I feel the product still works but not as well-other times the container is not filled to the top however this time my container was overflowing almost BUT there is hard dried clumps of the product through out it. So when I am applying it I will have to take tweezers and remover the clumps or tey to catch them before the product is on my face. I love this product so I will continue to buy it, it is just I never know what version of it I am going to get so I always buy the smallest size because I do not want to get a large one and be stuck with a version I am not completely happy with.

If you have rosacea- this is a MUST HAVE. After only two applications, my flare up has decreased significantly. It smells like hard boiled eggs that have sat out for too long but I do not care because nothing else has helped my skin like this. I’ll never stop using this product.

I have only used this twice now, and both times after washing off and finishing my routine, my eyes began to burn. Not sure if its from the strong fragrance this gives off or what. The smell is VERY strong, i wash my face twice a day and the smell lingers for a day or two after I use still, not to mention it stays on my towels and pillow. It does have a bit of an exfoliation to it, so my skin does look and feel nice after using. The first time I used, my skin was pretty clear the next morning. The second time, it didnt look as dull but did not clear up all my breakouts. I will stick to using only when absolutely needed for the reasons above, or perhaps as a spot treatment vs whole face mask.

Ok, I admit it. I was skeptical. But holy moly this stuff is freaking amazing. I heard about it from Dermarkologist on Facebook. Two days of using and whammo it knocked out the blemish. My skin didnt dry out nor did it irritate my rosacea. Would absolutely repurchase.

I wish I had a before photo but I had been struggling with a small persistent cluster under the skin red bumps on my cheek. I had been trying to treat with retinol and AHA/BHA with no luck. I have used this two nights now and I am so happy!!! My skin is glowing and there is a significant decrease in the red bumps on my cheek. 10/10 would recommend!

to start, i have always had acne- but i had gotten it under control. unfortunately due to a change in skincare, i developed fungal acne. if you know about fungal acne, you know it’s barely “acne” at all and more of a rash caused by yeast overgrowth. we all have yeast on our skin, but certain ingredients can cause overgrowth. the yeast gets trapped under the skin causing pimple like bumps. they look like hormonal acne, but are itchy and they spread like wildfire. they are also contagious meaning if you do skin to skin with someone who has fungal acne, you may get it too. After weeks of research, i decided sulfur was my best option. which brings me here. I tried this product back in 2016, but the smell was unbearable and i discontinued use. Trying it again in 2024, the smell is no where near as strong. I could only really smell it as i was rinsing. I had to wash twice to remove the smell. I used a (new) makeup brush to apply- it’s pretty thick, and leaves skin slightly greasy (goes away with wash). I recommend putting a cap over your hair while you wait as well. After one use, i obviously don’t see a difference. I have really sensitive skin and this didn’t irritate me at all, sulfur is generally a gentle treatment. I currently have a massive patch of fungal acne on both cheeks and jaw line. I will update results weekly. 7 day update: Today makes a week using this product 1x daily. I honestly have not seen a huge difference. It appears as if the redness is down, but i am still noticing the acne spreading (as fungal does). I am still experiencing mild itching along my jawline. The odor is not nearly as bad as some comment have made it seem. It only really smells once you begin rinsing. I have very sensitive skin & rosacea and this has not irritated that. Today I am adding a zinc bar soap to my regime. I have developed a completely fungal safe skincare routine as of today (was struggling to find moisturizer. went with A’Pieu Madecassoside 2x cream) so hopefully this combination will cure my issues. I will update in another week :) 2 week review: alright. i have to say this did almost nothing for me. it works for some but i needed something i bit stronger. i switched my routine to just the dermaharmony 2% pyrithione zinc face bar + a’pieu moisturizer and have noticed a massive difference. this was doing nothing except stinking.
