Bought the notebook for my sister for Christmas. Think she will love it. I can't live without mine

Very professional no frills portfolio. Great value for the money.

My dad is a landscaper and likes to constantly take notes of his jobs and work sites or customers in a small notebook. We put that paper notebook inside of this black thing and he loves it. He can keep his business cards in here, other notes and sometimes uses it as a wallet, a little bit. My only complaint about this product is that it doesn’t last crazy long, but that could probably be related to the price. It’s fake leather and so it can peel away or easily scratched and this is something that you would have to replace every few months.

After reading the reviews that this would not lie flat and other issues, I moved on, but came back to it after searching others, and am very pleased. The small size (holds 5" x 8" pad) is perfect for meetings at crowded tables. It is a professional-looking, brown bonded leather with brown and black interior and would work for business and casual meetings, club, or home use, although I'd use the larger size if I needed to take a lot of notes. When I first received it I gingerly bent it back at the spine past 180 degrees, and heard a snap, possibly what it was bonded to. It did not appear to be damaged, and lies almost flat, leaving the far left side with less than 3/4" of space beneath, which does not bother me (it doesn't try to close up and does not need to be anchored down as I had pictured from some reviews). I am left-handed, and have no trouble using it. If it doesn't close quite enough, I just crimp the spine lightly with my hand and it closes fine. It is exactly what I was hoping for in size, appearance, color, function and value. I hope it lasts as long as I do.

My husband is very picky about the quality of items. He needed a new wallet and I was so impressed with how this specific wallet was designed. I bought the first one for his Christmas present and he lost it a month later! He immediately had to have the same as a replacement! He absolutely loves it!

I bought this for an upcoming interview knowing I'd want to carry resumes with me. I assumed I'd fold them in half and keep them in the single pocket, but as you see in the pictures, the paper still hangs out the top, so any resumes I give out will be frayed at the edge due to a lack of protection, or get wet if I walk in the rain. If you don't care about the protection of papers, then this is fine. It looks good and seems durable. It can be folded 180 degrees open, but is a bit stiff (I'm sure that will soften up over a few uses).

I keep this beside my living room chair for jotting down notes. It is very high quality and looks elegant like it cost 10 times the amount I paid for it. Very satisfied. I like the fact that I can put refills in it.

Perfect size for carrying on the go with little pockets for receipts, business cards and such. Professional appearance. The only two things that I would have preferred is if the band to hold the pen was to the right, so that it didn’t sit inside the portfolio. And it took a while before the fold was easy to bend closed well
