Why do these read "Made in China" if they are created and produced by this husband/wife team?

We are a small family owned business that designs our pieces and values a high standard of quality control. Our premium ceramics are made in our factory in China. Although some of the best ceramic techniques can be found there, we still check each of our pieces by hand to make sure that each of our customers are receiving a quality product. If you would like to know more details about our manufacturing process, please check out our website. Alix has written an article about where our products are made. Please let me know if you have more questions. Beth - Mora Ceramics Customer Service
