DISH NETWORK 3.1 REMOTE

My old remote, the one that came with the Dish receiver, had become a serious pain to operate. So, looking through Amazon it was wonderful to find new remotes. I bought one, which was at a great low price, and I felt I had nothing to lose even if it didn't perform the way I hoped it would. When it arrived I put in batteries and it worked right away, no special programming to make it function, it just worked perfectly. It's so great to have a good working remote again. Thank you!

The remote was not the same one pictured, but turned out was compatible with our Dish Network box. In fact, we think the remotes (2) received have better features than our old remotes. I do think it was a bit much charging us double the shipping and handling when both remotes ordered came in the same mailing envelope and the postage was less than the shipping and handling charge for one remote.

We have an old DISH system and in appearance, both our old remote and the new look the same. Very compatibile and efficient. Only difference is in adjusting the volume, one has to push for each notch up or down insteady of a smooth slide. Definitely no biggie.

This was better than expected. It worked with my receiver right out of the package. It required no programming or anything to work with my Dish receiver. The cost was very reasonable. I will be ordering another one for the receiver in the bedroom.
