I've had the same Gerber multitool in my outdoor bag for over a decade and it's always worked flawlessly. I decided to buy this one to keep in the car and was so impressed I bought a second one of these a couple of weeks later. The quality, fit and finish are very good. This is a very solid multitool built to last. Frankly, at this price it's impressive. I've also had good experiences with Gerber's lifetime warranty. I sent my old multitool in because the blade started showing rust spots and wear after nearly a decade. They cleaned it up, sharpened it, and sent it back at no cost, no questions asked. 9 out of 10 companies would've said it was wear and tear and denied warranty work.

La construction est solide, les outils sont bien pensés et s’ouvrent facilement. Le système de verrouillage est sécuritaire et donne une vraie sensation de fiabilité lors de l’utilisation. La prise en main est agréable, et la pince à ressort est très pratique pour les travaux de précision. Les lames sont bien affûtées dès la sortie de l’emballage, et la sélection d’outils est parfaitement adaptée à un usage quotidien ou en déplacement. C’est l’outil idéal à garder dans sa voiture, sa boîte à gants ou son sac à dos. L’étui fourni est pratique, léger et permet de porter l’outil à la ceinture ou dans un sac sans problème. Le tout est compact et assez léger pour être emporté partout, sans sacrifier la robustesse. Bref, un excellent rapport qualité/prix. C’est un multitool qui inspire confiance, très utile au quotidien, et qui rivalise sans problème avec des marques bien plus chères. Je recommande sans hésiter !

The spring-assist for the scissors shifts out of place when in use. So it's quite a hassle to manually open it after each cut.
