Mine is more a body oil than spray, is this normal?

Certain fragrances with higher concentration of perfume oils usually leave an oil sheen like effect on skin when you spray them. It’s totally fine if the fragrance is a tad more oily and is perfectly ok.

Could a female pulls this of if layered with a more feminine fragrance?

I'm not going to lie to you, this fragrance has strong vanilla and smoky vibes. So with that being said I wouldn't layer this fragrance with anything else but that's just my personal opinion. If you've ever smelled Spice Bomb Extreme then you've practically experienced Mercedes-Benz club black. Hope that's answered your question.
