Will this fit my 2017 vw alltrack?

Yes, according to K and N it will fit. Fits my 2016 1.8T Sportwagon fine.

Will this fit my 2019 gti rabbit?

Yes, the K&N engine air filter 33-3005 will fit a 2019 Volkswagen GTI rabbit.

What kind of screwdriver is needed to open the air filter box? Looks like a star pattern.

You need a Torx head tool ... go to Home Depot and get one that fits. it's part of VW's and other European manufactures effort to make it harder for you to do your own service so you bring it to the dealer. Even the oil drain plug on some you'll need a Torx type wrench!

Will using this drop-in filter affect my car's warranty?

Absolutely NOT: Will NOT void vehicle warranty Designed to boost horsepower and rate of acceleration Can be cleaned and used again High air flow with exceptional filtration Lasts up to 50,000 miles before cleaning is required depending on driving conditions Works with original equipment manufacturer vehicle electronics Emissions legal in all 50 US states Million Mile Limited Warranty®
