So far, yeah... so good.
I got this to use as a server/storage device with my ROKU Ultra. It's a pretty good home media server holding movies, music, pictures, etc... Perfect for my needs and better than watching the same media via streaming (download once, watch whenever). This drive is very sturdy, easy to plug/unplug (from various devices), and while playing 4k content, does not generate extreme heat (laptop or Roku). No notable drops or issues with playback of any media. I thought 64GB was enough for my library but... I might have to "go big" in the future.

Perfect for an "important" thumb drive
I use this USB stick as a dedicated Ventoy USB, and its perfect. Stands out in my drawer, plus I get to joke about the "golden USB stick that can fix any computer" lol Not the most practical purchase of mine, but great peace of mind knowing it's durable, high quality, and has good speed.

This flash drive is hands-down the best one I’ve ever used the compatibility with different Operating systems and storage space is Substantial never heated up temperature stays consistent Just connected to the computer and transfer your files over

Put it on your keyring. Never get caught without it.
These things are SUPER TOUGH, and can stand up to sitting in your keyring. I ALWAYS seem to walk away without my USB drive, the only way for me to keep a USB drive is by PREVENTING me from operating my car. I have to go back and get the USB, otherwise, I'm walking!!

Nice physical construction, but sluggish performance and no manufacturer support
I like the metallic construction, gold color and the engraved serial number, which makes it easier to keep track of multiple devices. However, there are 2 negatives: 1. I speed tested my various USB 3 drives, and this was the slowest of them all. The miniature Verbatim Store 'n' Stay Nano performed the same transfer in 2/3 of the time of the Metal Executive. The Samsung BarPlus 256 GB was 5 to 6 times faster than the Metal Executive. (I format my drives with NTFS 4k clusters.) 2. I bought 5 of these drives. 4 of them worked fine, but the 5th is not be recognized in Windows 11. After extensive troubleshooting, I contacted Verbatim, but they don't respond. Update 6/10/2023: Verbatim eventually responded, but it took 4 business days. They offered an RMA but want a photo of the drive showing the capacity printed on the case. I'm returning it to Amazon.
