Ohh, It ABSOLUTELY FERMENTS!!
Note: Use 4-5 quarts raw agave for 5.5-6.5 gallon batch and make sure you follow the basics. 5.2 acidity (get a meter!!), , keep temp between 75-85 degrees (I found 80-83 degrees works off the best) most importantly use a friggin Turbo Yeast/ Dady yeast + yeast nutrient. Dady yeast for the strong Spirit de Agave Azule. Fermentation starts within the hour. Under-note: To adjust wash/ wort toward more acidic add lemon juice. To adjust wash/ wort more neutral use very small amounts of baking soda (very little moves it a lot). Remember 5.2 acidity ALWAYS and across all washes/ worts, well, basically. Also usually no need for bung/ bubbler when using Turbo yeast. To cool wash/ wort quickly and cheaply, wrap wet towel around stainless/ glass fermenter, blow a fan breeze across wet towel. Bottom line, IT ABSOLUTELY FERMENTS, WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR CRAFT. Not for the backwoods schooled, if you can’t think on your feet.

It's a lot !!
My husband uses agave in his coffee, which he drinks a lot of. We got the 4 gallon size because it cost less than the other sizes....But.....it is heavy and takes two (one to hold the container it is being poured into and the other to lift the 44lb son-of- a gun) We put the container being poured into in the sink. That made it lower and if we made a mess, it would easier to clean up. But we did good....It will be some time, but we will buy again

excellent product
I have transitioned to agave almost exclusively. my wife and i now use less than 5 pounds of sugar a year. the king of it is that buying it like this is the only way to buy it. I decant it into a 1 gallon bottle and have zero inconvenience. I have been using this brand of agave for about 3 years and have ZERO complaints.

Limited blood sugar affects
This product is my new sweetener. It doesn't affect your blood sugar as much and the taste is wonderful.
