These are great quality!
Very functional and sturdy rod holders! But they do not accommodate smaller rods. Be aware that if your rod handle isn’t long enough to reach the bottom they will fall out. I place a Velcro strap or zip tie near the bottom to support the bottom of the rod (when using shorter rods) and it fixes the problem.

Scotty Rod holders...
The good part, I have been using various kayak fishing gear for fourteen years. Long ago I choose Scotty products as they were good, strong and easy to set up. These rod holders are great. Okay, the not-so-good part, My latest order arrived today, two of these, but one was missing the mount. The bag looked like it hadn't been sealed very securely. I don't need the mount so it's all good. In fact I can mail you the three others as to not waste them. Just wanted to let you know so you can avoid it for others.

Missing screws
Only 4 stars because it didn't come with screws and the base that attaches to the kayak should have had some sort of rubber seal so water doesn't get inside the kayak through the base. Otherwise it works well.

Does the job.
The rod holder was delivered on time. It's not fancy but it does the job. Very sturdy and easy to install. I installed it on my kayak. Let the fishing begin.

Good rod holder for the money.
I like these for the price on my kayak. Doesn't take too much effort to adjust, holds s spinning reel with ease and a baitcaster decently well. If you have any rods with a big knob on the end that will cause you an issue, but otherwise these are fairly generic. I've got a transducer swing arm that also fits the mounts which is nice. I've trolled a lot of medium crankbaits out of these and they've held up well. If you're trolling make sure to set your drag and ideally use a moderate action rod so you have that extra second to get the rod out of the holder. I've got a Predator kayak so I just mounted a couple of these to the mount plates with brass bolts.

Super quality. Better than more expensive holders. No mounting screws but that can be found at any hardware store. Strong enough to troll deep lures on the kayak.
