Does the whisk and flat beater go to bottom of bowl?

Like most stand mixers it does not touch the bottom but this one goes down almost to the bottom. It still mixes well and I have not had anything on the bottom of the bowl that wasn't mixed in. I have used it quite bit too.

Where can I get a replacement bowl?

I posted the same question after purchasing product. But, per HB customer service a replacement bowl is not available for this model. The mixer is really nice, but disappointed to learn that a replacement bowl is not available. Now, I’m considering returning.

This was just delivered today! The bowl lock doesn't seem very secure--you barely touch it and it unlocks. Is this normal, or is mine defective?

It may be defective. Mine is very tight when it is locked. It has been easy to unlock but IO would certain ly ask customer service first.
