Fun to build. But need some electronics knowledge.
No instructions. Hardest part to do is soldering IC to back of circuit card. Otherwise just match component with wording on the board. The first one I built did not work. My fault. Solder blob short. Found and cleared. All I can say say is "WOW"! Do these little things work. Tremendous volume. Make sure you use stereo head phones w/ This little thing is stereo. Head phones need to be 32 ohms or close. 1/8" plug. To tune just push tune button once then wait or it to find a station and so on! Really neat little unit. One last thing. You need a soldering iron with a NEEDLE point will make the job easier!

Fun electronic Project for all ages.
Fun project for electronic hobbyist. I put mine together and it works great! Solder the IC first. It works with a mono headphone. you won't get sound through two speakers. I used an old cell phone headphone.

Not recommended
Did not come with build instructions. Neither one of them worked. The first didn’t make sound except a pop or 2 and the second one wouldn’t pick up a station. The volume on the second one did work the for turning the static down. On the upside, I was able to teach my nephew how to solder and the basics of the electronic components. I will by a different product in the future.

works great.
Easy to setup. learned new technique for ( SMD ) and didn't need to worry about cost. Worked like a charm. 3D printed a case and kids love it at the drive in theater.

Deceptively smaller than pictured and NO instructions.
Completely deceptive in size. Much smaller than pictured. It came with NO instructions. As a gift; know the recipients hobby and skill level. Due to the size this project (hobby) took some skill, but it is very basic to assemblely.

It works Great!
I followed the instructions exactly, and it turned out to be a great mini radio. It has good sound quality, and is easy to operate. It looks very neat, when the components are assembled.

High difficulty level for a newbie. Also, smaller than advertised!
I enjoyed attempting to build this radio, however instead of fun tunes I literally got smoke. It doesn't come with any instruction, that has to be found online. Everything was going swell until the micro-sized chip needed to be soldered, which turned into a big mess for this newbie. Note: The display photos are also comically large compared to its real size as this thing is tiny. They digitally added it into the photos making it appear larger than normal. I detest this practice as it's deceiving to the customer.

I was skeptical at first when I saw how tiny they were, wasn't sure if they would even work. But after solerinh all the parts to the board I was amazed how well they worked. Kids loved them. Just like a regular radio. ,you xan even change channels. Only thing is you need to have headphones to plug in. Every phone comes with ear buds so you can use them.
