This is a brilliant product! It's such a good idea. When you're using it to replace a traditional shaver point, the wiring switchover is so simple. Do remember to switch off the mains power first!

Fitted in place of existing toothbrush/shaver socket and works a treat. No unsightly cable dangling down and no clutter on countertop. Easy to install and 2nd holder next to it (also on Amazon) to store another toothbrush finishes the job.

The unit itself looks good, but I've bought it to take to Spain, where (apparently) the in wall box this needs to screw into, (seacrching suggests it's called a Pattress box), are of a different size. Now I need to order that separately, and I'm not confident what I should order. I've added another star, as the double patress box wasn't as difficult to find as I thought (it's now arrived, and fits this unit)

Superb alteration for an unused shaver socket. Such an easy fit, the charger unit is already fitted and working just over ten minutes after delivery. The instructions are still in the box. Just make sure the wires stay securely in the push fit connectors and you're good to go. I can't believe I've not fitted these before. In my case I needed the original screws from the shaver socket rather than the supplied ones so keep yours handy when you remove it. Highly recommended piece of kit.

Brilliant idea. Removes cables & makings charging easy!

This is a great concept and does the job perfectly. Prior to installing this I used to have wires permanently trailing from the shaver socket that was only used for toothbrushes. My old shaver socket used to also have a slight hum from the transformer, but I get no noise from this one. I have had it for 2 months now and absolutely no issues. Very easy to install once the power is turned off and fits well to the wall. Would I recommend it as a purchase... Yes I would.

Like a lot of people, we thought we could plug our two prong plug toothbrush charger into the shaver socket in the bathroom and just leave it there. Well apparently you can't. Shaver sockets aren't designed like that and if you leave them under constant load, they eventually fail. Since we don't have an electric shaver, we took out the shaver socket and fitted this. It sit's nicely in the original back box and our toothbrush just sits on top. Take off the brush, use it and put it back. It looks nice, there are no wires anywhere and importantly it has worked flawlessly for nearly two years.

Love it, have a double in on ebatjroom and a single in another. Really useful.
