I was a little sceptical that the material was stainless steel but properly pleased when it arrived and it actually was.Great replacement for worn plastic that looked dreadful.The fit is really good, nice and tight and gives the key a quality look.So absolutelyno problems with key fitting into slot on dashboard.Really happy with how it looks and feels.My only single negative is the very small gap where the ring is split. It could be a fraction smaller but without the split it wouldn’t be able to be fitted and if too tight you would potentially loose some of the spring back that holds it tight. For me this compromise is the right choice.In summary these guys have a great product

Fitted perfectly on my key fob
I managed to remove the old one on my fob and replace easily. Just a subtle touch for a different look to others. (*_*)

Sharp edges, didn’t fit the key hole
Looks ok but quiet bulky, keys didn’t fit into the keyhole. There were some sharp little edges
