Product doesn't work in the UK!!!
I purchased this item and failed to install it because I needed a more recent version of the Nest thermostat, despite the fact that my thermostat was telling me I had the most up-to-date version. After some research I discovered that there are 2 versions of the software: 1 for the United States, Canada, Mexico, and some other countries, where this sensor is available, and 1 for Europe, which is not compatible with is sensor. This sensor shouldn't be sold in the UK as is cannot be used in with a UK-sold Nest thermostat. Frankly it should be put in the product description.

Not capable with EU\UK Nest thermostat (3rd Gen)
Doesn't work woth EU Nest Thermostat 🙁Other than that - fast delivery, good eco packaging, free return
User
Miss sold
Sold into the UK as an additional component of the Nest system but only found out afterwards it only works in North America. Why are they selling to the UK market?
User
Dont work in the UK
NOt sure why this product is marketed in the UK when the Google support website clearly states they do not work in the UK
User
temperature sensor is useless in the EU. It will not work, don't buy it!!
This temperature sensor is useless in the EU. It will not work, don't buy it!! When you try to add it at the app, it will ask for a software update that does not exist.
User
DOES NOT WORK IN THE UK!
As other reviews have stated, this device cannot be added to Nest in the United Kingdom. Why it is on sale on Amazon’s UK app and website is a mystery!
User
Doesn't work in Europe
According to Google, this is only compatible with thermostats bought in the US, Canada or Mexico!Returning for a refund!!
User
Not compatible with U.K. system
This is not compatible with the U.K. nest system but doesn’t state this anywhere on the product listing

Attenzione!
User
Works well with our Google Nest Thermostat
Works well with our Google Nest 3rd Gen Thermostat (US version). Adding the sensor to the account was easy on the app, and connection is stable between floors (thermostat is downstairs, sensor is upstairs).
User
User
Only pairs with older generation
Only pairs with older generation of learning thermostats that are only on the nest app. If the new thermostats are on the google home app, the sensor will not pair
