I have a lg tv. will that remote work with this combo?

If the remote has buttons for Fast forward rewind stop etc., it should work this unit as well, but the unit does come with a remote that also have buttons on it to work an LG tv too.

does it come with a remote?

Yes, if buying used make sure the listing says it includes the remote, not all sellers include one, at Home Theater Deals storefront on Amazon we always include the original remote manual cables and power cord with every unit we sell!

I have a DVD stuck in my player and cannot get it out! Any suggestions? Thanks!

If it's anything like a computer DVD there should be a small hole under the disc tray. Stick a straight paperclip in and push it. The tray should pop out.
