Autodesk Fusion 360 Basics Tutorial: May 2020

This is a nice complement to their "Fusion 360 For Beginners" book. I find things I need in both. They're both cheap, informative, and up-to-date. You can buy them together for one-tenth of what an out-of-date college textbook would cost.

Excellent Easy to folllow

I have a doctorate in math, computer science, and solid modeling. I was looking for a good beginners instruction manual for a colleague. This is not it. A good instructor describes what you are trying to accomplish with an overview and then steps you through the process. Explaing tangets, colinears, coincidents, etc. as you move along. This book is nothing more than a simon - says do this tutorial without any reason. The best analogy I can make is teaching somebody to build house without showing them the walls, roof, windows, and an overview of how a house is built and simply starting to frame a room by saying do this, this, this, then that. There is no education here and when you are done, you will be able to create the parts in the book, but clueless as to how to build a unique assembly on your own. There are better options.

The example files don’t seem to load like the book shows in all cases, making some chapters difficult or not possible to follow.I’m sure an experienced user could use the files, but consider the intended audience of the book.
