It seems strange writing that I really like this grease gun. I actually purchased two different guns the same day. This one and a similar priced one. The shipping on this one took longer so I ordered a different one too. This is definitely a high quality tool. It looks and feels different from my others that I own in a good way. Loading grease is easy and it purges air with just a couple squeezes of the handle. I did purchase a different grease gun locking coupler that makes attaching and removing it very easy. The only complaint that I have is that the pull handle doesn't like to stay up in the body of the gun. No leaking grease anywhere, even on the handle. I can apply a lot of pressure in those stuck zerks.

What can I say? Grease gun is solid heavy duty and works really well. Just make sure you watch the instruction videos on how to load the grease to attach the hose. You can’t beat the warranty on this gun and it works like a charm. Don’t believe the hype about these other grease guns, this is the best grease gun you could buy on Amazon.

This grease gun works like a dream. So far it hasn’t sweat any grease during the summer months.

This looks like an excellent and substantial product that I will enjoy using. Now, instead of holding the hose on the nipple while holding the grease gun with my body while I push the handle, this style makes it easy to get the grease where it needs to go. One hand on the nozzle and one to pump. One caveat: the gun comes with the hose separate and a subtle black plastic plug sits over the point where the hose is attached. The plug is difficult to see and there is not a word in the manual about having to remove it before attaching the hose. And when you do try to remove it, it tears off little pieces rather than pulls out. Best to rotate the plug counterclockwise to get it out.

I've done without a grease gun for quite awhile but I needed one to grease the pivot on my 5th wheel hitch and the spring shackles on my trailer. After looking at the offerings at the chain auto parts and big box stores, I was not impressed. I found recommendations for this McNaught on some tool forums. I might have paid $15-20 more than the cheap guns, but I knew I'd save myself the aggravation of poor fittings and grease leaks on the tube. The McNaught is well made with well cut threads and quality seals. The pistol grip allows you to have one hand on the hose and the other one free to pump the grease. The female fitting grabs the zerk tightly and doesn't spluge grease everywhere but where you want it to go. All in all, "Fair dinkum" as the Aussies say.

Love the grease gun,,,but. How do we go about getting replacement ends? anyone know how to contact them? Grease also getting by plunger in tube and wasting a few oz of grease every change. 10yr warranty and I'd like to speak with someone about repair parts. Gun has a lot of psi and doesn't air lock like the cheap ones.

This a quality, well made grease gun. Worth every penny. The MacNaught connector has a manual release I have not had a trapped grease nipple yet. I use cartridge grease, have not tried bulk loading. The company has a USA location and is very helpful, the support is great.
