Excellent quality (both the lid and base), Cleans soooo easily (soak it for 5 minutes and put it in the dishwasher) and, oh yeah, cooks steaks and salmon to perfection (with perfect grill sear lines). Love that I can finally sizzle steaks on high heat with mushrooms, veggies and cooking wine and BBQ appeal on my gas range indoors when it's 20 degrees outside. It's so nice I'll use it year round.

I just received this grill pan and - on initial impression - am happy with the quality, although the pan itself is a bit lighter than I expected, I am going to hope that it does a good job and holds up over time. i have not cooked in the pan yet. HOWEVER, and this is a major issue, the pan itself is only slightly over 2 inches deep. If you look at the listed dimensions of 4.8 inches as the height, it is logical to assume that is the height of the pan. In reality, that is the height of the pan with the lid on and including the upright handle. VERY misleading and disappointing. My wife has been searching hard to find this pan to cook a variety of things, including fish with vegetables. the pan will begreat for the fish, but adding sufficient vegetables to the pan will not give you enough room to stir things without spilling. Due to the fact that we have not yet used the pan and are not sure we will keep it because it is so shallow, I cannot comment at this time about its ability to cook. I will add to this review if we decide to try it.This, though, leads to a disturbing issue I have been experiencing with Amazon very recently, and that is products are not being advertised accurately and are allowed to continue that way even when you make Amazon aware of the issue. Now, don't get me wrong, Amazon always makes good with its return policy, but it is annoying to be excited about getting something that seems like a goid deal only to find it was not as described and thereby not such a deal. Last month I returned a bracelet for my wife that she loved because the description said it was1 inch wide, but it was only 5/8 inches. Aggravating. I complained to Amazon, returned the item, got all my money back. But, even now, the description still says 1 inch. Come on, Amazon, hold these vendors' feet to the fire!

This pan does a wonderful job of indoor grilling. The lid is wonderful if you wish to cook with a bit of steam. A breeze to clean.

I bought the pan with the SolSource Sport Solar Cooker. Unfortunately, I could not use the pan, because nowhere stands that this is not usable for the SolSource Sport Solar Cooker.It is not usable because the pan is too big for SolSource Sport. As I later learned, it is only suitable for the SolSource Classic Solar Cooker. Due to the size of the pan, the reflector surfaces are shadowed by the pan too much. For this reason, the pan does not get warm due to solar energy and is not suitable for grilling with this appliance.

Not just great... but Wonderful !! This pan is now my new favorite to grill on the stove top, Roast in the oven , and it cleans by simply rinsing with hot water!! ... Exactly what I wanted when I ordered..But it exceeds my expectations in every way. Thank You

The pan we have been looking for. Cooks beautifully, food has that grilled quality, and cleans up easily.

Very nice grill pan. Works great on my stove top.....certainly not just for the SolSource system.
