Covert Ops Soft Foam Shooting Ear Plugs, 7 Pair Plus Travel Case - 32 dB High NRR, 37dB SNR - Comfortable Earplugs for Hunting, Tactical, Target, Skeet and Trap Shooting

I really like these Mack earplugs. I am a New Yorker and take the subway every day and the amount of peripheral noise is amazing and increasingly annoying. While the Mack earplugs won't block out the noise (not what I was looking for) it very reasonably dampens a lot of the noise and makes it a lot easier to read/relax and not be distracted. the Mack plugs won't block out someone streaming music out loud (good grief!) right next to me, but if it's a few feet away at a moderate level the sound will either be muffled or I won't hear it. I was on the bus recently (yes, I take a city bus to a subway train and if I want to get home I have to do that twice a day :O( and there were some kids in the back playing around as kids will and should do and it really didn't hit me for a bit that they were pretty much screaming and the sound was muffled enough that while very noticeable it was quite as piercing as I've sometimes found it. Of course, you need to put the earplugs in properly for them to work and that takes an inconvenient minute or so, but the result is worth it and I'm planning on buying a second batch of earplugs. In sum, if you are looking for an earplug that will dampen at worst and block noises out at best these are worth a try. They are comfortable and fashionably dark which are two things I was looking for. I hope never to be on a NYCC subway and hear a gunshot, but for all the dumb things that people do with their smart phones this product works well and has my hearty recommendation.

Great ear plugs to utilize at the range along with my other ear protection

Nice to have plus I like the keychain it comes with when I go shoot

Arrived on time. Reasonable product. Worked okay, but I had higher expectations. Price is absolutely ok.

Great to see black ear plugs to help you keep track of them, without standing out.

Work loose in ear and eventually fall out. Poor at muffling loud noise.

Work great

I use them for my 9mm piston. They work as well as 34db over ear protection at reducing noise. Very comfortable and stays in place once you get them in right.

I’m really impressed with these Mack’s Shooters Covert Ops ear plugs. They’re comfortable, lightweight, and provide excellent noise reduction without feeling too tight. The foam is soft and molds easily to the ear, making them ideal for long sessions at the range or anywhere loud. Each pair seals well and stays in place, and the pack of seven is great value for money. I’ve noticed a real difference in reducing sharp, high‑impact sounds while still being able to stay aware of my surroundings. Reliable, effective, and very comfortable — these ear plugs exceeded my expectations and I’d happily recommend them.

Shame they’re not sold in a tub!

If you're here specifically because you want the covert earbuds in covert black (as pictured and described on the page) just be aware I was sent bright orange coloured ones. Not covert black. False advertising.
