How much throw does it have? My major concern / use would be for wedding receptions, and I want to place these lights pretty far back.

Per the manufacturer the throw is about 12-15 meters without use of the condenser lens. With the condenser lens the throw is 20 meters.

The specs read as "flicker free" and I have seen this advertised before, any one else shooting at 120fps and can verify that it IS flicker free?

How do i attach this light to a light stand? What attachments do you recommend?

Timothy, each LBPS 1800 light comes with a hot shoe, the hot shoe has a screw at the bottom that will come out just in case your light stand has a female screw attachment instead of a hot shoe adapter. However for your light stand to fit well with our lights, you will most likely need a hot shoe to light stand adapter.

Very good light

After looking at several considerably less expensive "knock off" versions of this light, I decided to pay more and get the real deal. I read several good reviews. Now that I've used it I can attest that it is a quality product. It can do both daylight and warm color temperature and the build quality is nice. It also comes with a handy bag. I am going to buy a second one since we shoot with multiple cameras. It's very handy for shooting dark weddings and receptions that have no light other than flashing DJ lights. They really make a difference in the end video quality.

I liked it at first

I liked it at first, but the connections are poor and the light stopped working after about a year. Now I've got an expensive paperweight.

Powerful, compact lamp

I have used it once for recent Miami marathon, which started before dawn on overcast day. Results were excellent, using the spotlight lens.

Works great for up close interviews. Probably not what you want for any farther away than 5 or 6 feet in poor lighting conditions.

Excellent product

I used on my Canon XH A1 and it works perfect, although i recommend to buy a bracket to hold it and do not use the intelligent flash shoe.

Pretty bright, design flaws trump features at times though

Pros: decently bright, barn doors are the best on the market. Cons: For the price, the battery shouldn't be intermittent and falling off. Also, the light flashes like a distress beacon when the batteries get low. Boooo
