These beads have wax on them so I had to boils them for a short period of time to get he wax off so I could use essential oils on them. I boiled water, lowered some bead in for about 20 second, removed then dried with a soft towel.I did this about 5 times depending on the outcome.After you get the wax off, essential oils soaks in well.

I questioned if these were plastic or lava stones. It didn't melt like plastic. I then crushed one. It's lava stone. I believe they have some kind of coating on them that makes them feel like plastic.

The 4mm beads are perfectly delicate & very round considering the naturally porous nature of lava stones.88 of the 4mm beads strung "loose" measure exactly 13.5inches/34.29cm long.

I made some bracelets and necklaces with these. I understand a lot of people like to put a drop of fragrance oil on the beads for added pizazz.

I only received lava bead of 14mm .The ad was showing :4,6,8,10,12 and 14mmI need to receive the balance of my order .Denis

Works great for mixing paint. I stick one at the bottom of each jar of miniature paint. Much nicer than wasting paint by mixing it with toothpicks.

Some of the beads are weird shapes, and some of them have cracks, but I got enough beads to do what I wanted with them. Would order from again, and the price was good.
