An addition to my Anti-depressant Meds
A friend and I were discussing our need for Anti-depressant Medication and how awful it is if you run out of your prescription before you have more on hand! She told me a doctor suggested she use Lithium Orotate in addition to her medication to give her a little boost in her mood. I had never heard of it so I researched it (which I would encourage any potential buyer to do) and decided to try it. Well, I must say I DO feel a little less down when I take this supplement in addition to my prescribed medication so I have decided to add this supplement to my "Subscribe and Save" account so I always have it on hand. Effects can be subtle, it's when I don't take it, I can feel the difference.

Quality
I've used this now for several weeks and slowly increased my dosage up to 20mg that is reccommeded for sleep--you may need less and as tolerated. It's not a miracle cure but does indeed help. I trust this brand. They give sensible dosing on their vitamins and supplements, reasonably priced, and quality products.

Does What It’s Supposed To
Husband’s cardiology practice recommends over the counter low dose lithium for heart rhythm irregularities. After doing a little research I learned that along with cardiac care lithium can be helpful with anxiety and sleep promotion. We had been using another brand but I decided to try this one based on Amazon reviews. This formula is far more effective than the previous brand. Husband takes one capsule morning and evening for heart rhythm regulation and I take 2 at bedtime for sleep assistance. We’re both very happy with this formula!

Game Changer
This is a game changer to the management of my mood. It definitely can cause drowsiness as an expected side effect, so take it before bed. Really beneficial if you suffer from mild mood lability. I'm now much more in control of my emotions and more patient with my little kids. My confidence has improved as well. This was recommended by my doctor. It's mild. Non toxic.
Dr. Grey of Men are from Mars Women are from Venus fames suggested Lithium Oratate is great for those with Autism. My son on the Spectrum highly recommends it. It helps him a lot. It's mild. Non toxic. Works great.

This label is correct, unlike others. 130 mg lithium orotate yields about 5mg elemental lithium.
I chose this product after studying many others, because, unlike them, it states the correct information about the dose of lithium orotate and elemental lithium it contains. If a product claims to have 5mg of lithium orotate and also claims to have 5 mg of lithium, ask how is that possible. If I am more specific, I believe Amazon will reject my review.

Can build up in your kidneys
Lithium Oratate can build up in your kidneys so be careful* if you have any kind of kidney disfunction.
