Kibo Chickpea Chips Pico de Gallo - Gluten-Free, Plant-Based, High Protein-Fiber Non-GMO, Vegan, Made with Real Veggies - 1 oz, 12 Pack

I bought this because I am trying to eat healthier - low salt, more protein, better nutritional source and ingredients. I had never tasted chick pea chips before, and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and texture. Three different flavors came in a plain recycled and recyclable box. The individual bags seemed small at first, but my foolish eating habits need to be revamped! I need to eat normal serving sizes, and these individual serving bags make that easy. It is more expensive buying in individual bags, but if I don't, I will keep sticking my hand in the bag well after I have had more than enough. Remember that when your body has had enough, it takes a good 10 minutes for your body to actually say "enough!". So each flavor was distinct from the others. None of them were too salty. As far as spicy, none of them were hot to the point of making me sweat. The flavors were: 1) Mediterranean Herbs: a lovely mix of Italian herbs that remind one of a lovely garlic and basil pasta sauce with a slight saltiness - the flavor has you going back for more! 2) Pico de Gallo: a Mexican mix of herbs reminiscent of tomatos, onions, sweet peppers as fresh salsa flavor. Himalayan Salt 3) Himalayan Salt: this is where the chickpea flavor with that satisfying crunch shines. Yes, there is salt, but only the perfect amount for your tastebuds. Eating two bags won't make you feel like you have eaten a huge bucket of salt! It is more like a good enough hint of salt that does not overpower your tastebuds or your blood pressure! So these are three tasty chip flavors that will have you wanting to reach for more and they are much much healthier than eating those "empty calorie" snacks that are good for no one. These chips have a good enough amount of good nutrition for children's lunchboxes, and flavors that keep you reaching for more! We need more of these kinds of snacks and much less empty calorie junk food for everyone. You are what you eat, and you will live a better quality of life - and a longer life - if you eat healthy by researching your nutrition, AVOIDING processed foods, added sugars and inordinate amounts of salt, and eating a variety of each food group in moderate amounts. I feel so much healthier since I started following these food guidelines. These chips are a great way to alter your menu one step at a time! These are just okday - I like the Hippeas Cheese Puff much better. As other reviews have said the Sea Salt chips are awful, they taste like cardboard. I opened one bag and didn’t finish it, threw the other bags away. The pico was okay, haven’t tried the other flavor. I won’t buy again.
