The GT Ice Cream Cone lures are injection molded and come in a variety of fish catching colors. The Cone is a general, all-purpose plug for long surf-casting for surface feeding predators like stripers, roosters, tarpon, bluefish and all jack species, including GT’s. It works really well offshore for tuna, dolphin and other pelagics. It is best fished at a steady and slowish retrieve. The cone is the ultimate bluefish lure and will last a long, long time. The Cone is ideal in choppy conditions. The new colors make it very appealing to fish when they are focused one particular colored bait. Fisherman can now “match the hatch” by holding multiple colors of the same lure. The Cone is bottom weighted to always swim the right side up. The flat bottom ensures a nice slap when skipping and the rounded top finishes the lure off nicely. Our Story GT Ice cream lures originated in South Africa and were made originally for the giant trevally (GT’s) that hunt the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. The story of the name comes from one of the guys originally prototyping them when he said the GT’s hit the plug so hard and so much, that it was like ice cream to them! With great success in the Indian Ocean, we thought the plugs would work well all over the world. Our range and sizes of topwaters are deadly on all surface feeding predators. You will experience the most veracious topwater hits on our lures, ever! If you have the passion for topwater fishing like we do, try one of our lures, you won’t be disappointed.

Great Lure
The fact that this product comes in multiple colors helps give this product so many diverse entries in this fishing industry. Different colors can be more noticeable in different waters which is beneficial for any fisherman. The colors trigger the fish to stay appealed to the different colors when fishing. These lures make for great off shore fishing, The Cone is bottom weighted which keeps the lure swimming right side up to mimic a very natural swim so fisherman can catch their ideal catches. This is a great lure!

Great! could be improved!
I purchased this product because one of my close friends recommend it to me because of how efficient it was. After going fishing with my friends over the weekend I got to try it out. I believe that it is a great tool. The colors of it make it way easier to see it in the water. The only thing that I did not like about it was the rope that attached the wood part and the hook. The rope quality is low thus, it started to fray. The good thing about the product is that the lure was not very expensive and I can reuse it anyway.

I am a fan of this fishing lure in particular because of the marketing scheme; in that it shaped like a food item, to lure in an unsuspecting bite. It is quite a useful item to own while out fishing, and at low cost to this buyer, I would 💯% use it again!

Must have!
I love this lure! I love that I am able to use it in multiple bodies of water (Ocean, River, Lake) and I still keep on catching fish! In the past I’ve used cheaper lures that weren’t as effective as this one. Get yours today!!

This is a nice fishing lure but it is pricey.
I like how this product has multiple color options. It is a nice fishing lure to have because you can use it in almost any body of water. The price is very high compared to other fishing lures out there.
