Great Tent 2x4x5
I looked for the right tent for several months, watching You Tube videos and reading ads on Amazon and decided on the Mars Hydro. I'm happy about my choice. The things I like about this tent are: The quality of the materials: The outer fabric is sturdy and well assembled/stitched. The zippers operate very smoothly with no kinks or binding. Just make sure the flaps (to keep out light) are clear of the zipper. The inner material is highly reflective and includes a reflective floor tray for catching spills. It's a nice feature. The frame materials are very sturdy and appear to be able to hold most accessories you'd need (lights, fans, etc.). Assembly was easy overall. I really didn't follow the instructions for assembling the frame and had to take one section apart when I put the cross bar roof support into the top side bar connector. It was easy to figure out my mistake when things didn't line up and switched the supports around. The tent slipped easily over the frame, keeping in mind that you need to pull the material over the frame carefully, not forcing anything. I have a tent from another company where the door didn't zip close because the material is too short. With the Mars Hydro everything fits perfectly. There are plenty of ports for threading cords and allowing air to flow. Also, there's an observation window. I highly recommend this tent.

Great quality tent for the price with a robust ecosystem of accessories available
I wanted a tent on the smaller side for a single plant that wasn't too expensive and would allow for future upgrades and this is exactly what I needed. This is a high quality tent for the price, with a nice build quality, heavy duty walls and seams, rock solid zipper and very reflective inner lining. The tent's access openings are well laid out, allowing for cable running and ventilation. I also like the movable cross bars for light hanging. Mars Hydro makes a lot of optional fans, filters, lights and pretty much everything you need that are compatible with this tent so I know that if I need something in the future, I can easily find it. The only feature I would like to have this tent lacks is some kind of pockets for storing small things like pruning shears and other small stuff but I can easily keep things like that nearby so it's not a deal breaker.

Perfect size for space
So far the tent has been perfect, it has plenty of vents, was pretty simple to put together seems to be made very well. My only issue is the lack of the option to purchase additional support poles for the top. The price was a bit more then I wanted to spend even with a coupon but they were the only ones with the odd size as well as mostly positive reviews do I went with it. I really wanted a 60” by 36” by 80” tent but this one comes very close so I like it. I don’t use the view window much but it does come with one. I noticed a few very minor pin holes in the corners which are very tiny so I just have to be sure if I ever need complete darkness I plan accordingly but as of now I’m growing carrots and other veggies so it doesn’t matter. The material seems very sturdy and thick. I would recommend this tent as it has some of the best reviews, is made of quality material and has a solid zipper on it. Just know you can’t get additional support beams from the company but maybe that will change one day. They do sell additional side bars on their website so I’m optimistic.

Great tent for a great price!
Not bad! I was worried with some of the negative reviews, but felt I definitely got my money's Amazon. Note: I purchased this for 74.99 on Anazon. The reason why I went with this tent instead of others was due to its height. Most 2x2 tents are 2x2x3 or 2x2x4, and I wanted to get a bit more height out of it than that and boy does this tent deliver! Set up was fairly simple after I wrapped my head around what I needed to do. Only took 15 to 20 minutes. Literally just look at the included literature, separate the different poles, assemble the frame from the bottom up, make sure the connectors on the rods are facing the right way as you put them on, put the whole frame on its side, FULLY unzip the tent, then I shoved the bottom on the frame in first, then you just kinda work it in nice and slow. Easy peasy. Materials seems great! The Oxford seems well made. No cuts or holes. I even accidentally scraped the end of an aluminum rod against the Oxford and it didn't even leave a mark. The mylar on the inside is nice and super reflective. Great quality! When you open your tent, make sure you put on some sunglasses! (Not joking). As far as light leaks go, there is a small amount of stitching between zipper and the canvas material that shows light, but they do provide you with squares of mylar that you can use to glue over those parts if you care that much. Personally, the location I have my tent will cut out more light anyways since the light has to go through a closet door before it would go into the tent. Another thing with light leak, is that you if you have the intake flaps on the bottom open, means you are letting light in anyway, so I don't think it's a big deal... The zipper itself is nice and smooth to zip up and down. Doesnt get caught or anything. Tine will tell if this holds true as this is the most "used" part of a tent. There are plenty of options for exhaust, however I would've loved to see an intake port for active intake as well. As it is now, there are 2 intake flaps on the bottom on adjacent sides, which is fine and you can feel the air pulling through no problem, but it would be nice to have an active set up for intake filtration. Now I have to get some square filters and figure out how to attach them to the intakes. Would be nice if maybe there was some sort of slotting mechanism for a square intake filter! The tent also comes with one of those water catch pans, and it actually stays in place since it has 2 flaps on each corner with velcro on them to attach to the poles of the tent on the inside for a sturdy attachment that won't move around on you. Some other things I would have liked to see would be a viewing window, a small tool pocket somewhere, slightly thicker poles (I don't think the included poles are bad, but without the tent put around the poles, it feels a little flimsy) and would be nice if tent manufacturers figured out a way to mount fans on the outside of the tents. I wanted to mount my fan on the outside to allow more room for plant growth and because having my light and fan inside at the same time didn't allow enough room for the light to be centered if I used the side exhaust ports, which btw, the ports could definitely be placed higher up the tent. There is a good amount of space between the side exhaust ports and the very top of the tent. Kinda wasted space there.... So I took an aluminum rod and bent it into a shape that would support the fan (AC Infinity S4) on the top support braces and the top rear pole so it sits right over the 10inch top exhaust. If you are looking at the picture, the part of the rod with the bend is the part that is sitting on the 2 top support braces (the braces you hang your lights from) then the 2 ends of the bar are resting on the top rear pole. Been sitting there for a week now with no issues. I have a 100 watt SpiderFarmer SF1000 in there and with the S4 fan on level 6, I don't get any higher temperatures than 80.4 F with ambient temperatures around 72 to 74. RH is 40.

A excellent purchase for sauna.
This is one of my better purchases. It a cheap infrared sauna. I use it 4 times a week. I have 6 red lights of differing light rays. ...near and far. I have $200 max in it, and the good ones are $1000 of dollars.

so i was having a look around a friends house when i first seen a mars hydro tent. i asked him what it was because i didn't know and he told me what it was all about but that i couldn't look inside his mars tent because it's a personal experience kind of thing. so i came on here and bought my own mars hydro tent and now i see what he is talking about. when you sit inside this thing and do the zip up it really feels just like the same as being on mars! it's an amazing experience that i can't describe or even show you. only you can get your own mars hydro tent and see what all the fuss is about yourself. trust me i liked the mars hydro 1x1 tent so much that i upgraded and got the 1.2x1.2m tent. my friend thinks i'm crazy because he only has the 1x1 tent and i won't let him have a go inside my 1.2m tent because it's a personal thing omg let me tell you. so now i got all the lights and the air system going on it feels like actually being on mars and when you turn the lights out it feels like you gone to space in an instant! some weekends i don't even come out of the mars tent at all it feels so real. i get everything i need and my wife waves me goodbye and zips the tent up and i am gone for days. 10/10 would get another bigger mars tent and i think i will because my wife is ok with it. she loves the mars tent too and says she would spend more time in it if she could but she doesn't even mind me spending time in the mars tent which is wild because she is usually pretty controlling tbh. she might not be so happy with how much earth money i'm spending on LED lights but it's worth it just to feel what it's like to be that close to the sun. 640 watts of light is intense in a 4x4! make sure you pack sunglasses when you go camping in a mars tent! as you can tell i love this tent. i've spent a few hours in it every day and am in it all most weekends, even sleep in the tent in a sleeping bag i take in prepared packed full of lunches the same as a space man would eat on mars. me and my wife have been in this tent. i reckon you could fit four people in it sitting comfortably or standing for a few hours or night at least and work your way up to a weekend like they would do going around mars in the real star ship. i would only sleep with two people total in this tent but if you want the true full experience you would have to try sleeping four people in this tent even if you have to go top to tail. i would like to get the 1.5x1.5m mars tent next. there is "easily" enough space for 4 adults and 2 kids to go to mars i think. it's time to open this up to the masses and no more keeping it a secret "personal thing" to do alone in private. flying to mars in a mars box is safe. it's 2024 and we have 1680 Denier ballistic fabric canvas now on the outside of the mars tent which is light but also durable modern material never used before in the space industry. to this canvas, they bond a highly reflective density diamond mylar sun heat protection on the inside that keeps you warm in space but also breathable and reflection 99%98% of the suns harmful rays! not bad and that's why i'm only trusting this tent to get to mars in. the viewing window will come in handy too as will the little hanging bag to put my shoes in. i keep the silicon packets in the hanging bag to absorb any moisture on the way to mars. my friend tells me i should get a dehumidifier in my mars tent but i don't think i need one. i have a moisture meter which is always checking for moisture and will alert me if the numbers are getting too high, giving me a chance to turn up the dial on the 6 inch extractor fan and clear the tent out just a mere second before i have a real disaster in space. i'm a rule breaker and an innovator and i know the only way to innovate is to break a few rules along the way. if i can't convince you to come join me starting humanity again on mars i don't know what can but i can offer free apples. not the phones sorry but real apples. tasty and full of knowledge. the red ones are the best but always go first so you want to be quick about it. if you do want to start again on mars then connect your LED light controller to a modem and turn the dial up to 10 and you will be on mars as soon as your internet connection will allow. i only have 25GB internet and it takes me about 10 hours to get to mars and another 10 hours to get back on a good day which gives me plenty of time to have a good weekend on mars and be back to work on monday morning or the wife won't be so happy. i fell asleep on the journey back home once and was late to work that day and i've still not heard the end of it and it's an excuse to use against me all the time. so don't make the same mistakes i did and let's all look out for one another. we can do this before elon musk gets to mars and wrecks everything team mars hydro
