Will this work with batteryminder model 1510 to maintain & desulfate two 12v batteries (under hood & house-motorhome) or 2 motorcycle batteries?

With the y connector from battery minder. Yes . I believe it does one at a time

if I have 2-12 V batteries wired in parallel do I need to separate them before using the splitter ?

I have 2-12V batteries wired in series in an airplane and also have the splitter attached to each battery. It seems to work fine. I just unplug the splitter from the BatteryMinder before flying.

Can i use this connector with a 24 volt charger and connect it to the quick connectors on each battery?

If both batteries are 24 volt. If you mean 2 12 volt batteries then you want to connect the batteries together in a series to make them 24 volt. different connectors for a series.

If I have 5 12v batteries to maintain, how many splitters do I need, 4 splitters?

You will probably need more than one battery minder....think they'll allow 2 to 3 batteries per unit. I'm doing two with one unit that is rated for I belive 3 or four batteries, have to check that. 4 physically.
