Does anyone know if festool or makita tracks are compatible with this model ? It seems one has to send a arm and a leg just getting something that cu

Festool is compatible, but you have to cut the anti-tip lip on Makita rail. Check Peter Millard's video "How to trim a guide rail" Also this plunge saw is exactly the same with Lidl's one but different colour.

I also want to buy extra track be brought separately to cut a sheet lengthwise. I don't see such an option on the listing. How/where from do I do that

It comes with two separate 600 tracks which can be screwed together. I prefer to have a long solid piece so I bought a Festool one as it works with this saw. Lumberjack don’t sell a longer one.
