Swaging is a process that terminates the end of a wire rope, either by creating an eye loop or simply adding a stopping point on the wire. A Cable Swager is the tool that you use to complete this process, along with a ferrule or swage sleeve.

How strong is swaging?

When swaged properly, the strength of this termination is of 90% of the breaking strength of the cable.

What are applications of aluminum loop sleeve?

Cable swage sleeves and wire rope end fittings are very versatile and are an essential part of many wire rope rigging applications.
