Dumb question, but is the label and the seasoning packet in a medium/warm purple? Trying to coordinate colors for a gift. Thank you.

Don't know. I don't have that blend. By the way, the only dumb question is an unasked one, in my opinion....

Is the rub the same as the packaged seasoning?

This is the same Blend that is in the single use package of Cracked Black Pepper Steak.

There are no dumb questions! The cracked Black Pepper label is more of a Navy Blue. Other spices that have purple labels - Za'atar, Pacific Coast Sea Salt, Lemon Ginger Turmeric Tea, Herbes de Procence, and Roasted Garlic Slices. I hope this helps.
