Can i buy a replacement led light ring that will fit this unit that has blue or green light?

You might be able to find one, but directions state something about the connection is of a special design. Read directions.

How much water does it take to fill?

I would guess about 3 gal. Quite a bit. It difficult to lift the base when filled. I have mine outside so some materials can get in the water and the pump tends to clog pretty easily. I am going to try to adapt some kind of filter. On the plus side, it is charming.
