Nativa SPA by O Boticário, Madagascar Vanilla Body Oil, Soothing & Moisturizing, 6.8 Ounce

I have really sensitive and dry skin ( more combination) . I usually use an oil from a different company. I bought this because I don’t wear perfume but I like to smell nice ( the reviews I read wrote about the scent) This oil is AMAZING 🤩! The feel and I love the smell. I have bought all the scents and I find that the, Black Plum to be more on a Floral notes with a little spice. This oil is so softening and each blend smells nice and not offensive. I do find the, Vanilla to be a bit dryer feeling than the other blends. As for scent it depends on if you like it really wood, spice or a little. For a more floral delicate scent, I recommend the Black Plum ( which is my favorite). I find this to be light weight but substantial enough to heal and nourish you dry skin and add a barrier. I do find that I have to use my towel to blot off any excess I have put on. I do this to ensure my clothes do get oily. I have used it for messaging a sore back too. I will continue to keep buying this product !

Magical. The quinoa scent... I can't even describe. Its slightly unisex, ultra sexy, and ultra classy. Its very sweet, slighty spicy, and something a little astringent/aldehyde (but don't let that scare you!) Like, it just smells expensive. This is absolutely nothing like you will find at BBW, Ulta, or even Sephora. For a body moisturizer, the scent lasts all day long and is fairly powerful. Like, people will pass you and think "woah she smells classy." But without being super strong or headache inducing like perfume. It absorbs very well. Im a sweaty girl and don't always love body lotion. I like to apply it to my whole body before I get out of the shower and then lightly pat dry... then when I hang up my towel my bathroom smells amazing. Like, normally I wont use a towel twice. This makes me want to use my towel for a week because the scent is too good to waste! I did a deep dive into Brazilian products. This is the real deal, not like the yellow jar brand. Apparently, Brazilians are the best smelling people in the world. They make the best soaps, shower 3 times a day +, and apply layers of scented oil and lotion. From the few other products I've ordered from Brazil... the scent profiles are VERY different than what you find in the US. I haven't tried the vanilla but I highly doubt it will smell like Eos cashmere. That's my one caution to others... if you want something that will match your expectation of what "plum" or "vanilla" should smell like, go to VS or BBW. If you're willing to go out on a limb for something that smells insane good, this is it.

Soft essence, does not overpowered your perfume,, delicate essence...It does my skin needs for oil.

Super nice. Velvety and fragrant. Pairs nicely with the lotion. I bought the vanilla as well and…. Exquisite. Truly a sensory experience. The scent lingers.

I wanna say this is 3.5 stars for me. It feels like regular body oil going on. It’s not too greasy and it absorbs as expected. Nothing fancy there. The level of hydration is just mid. And the scent? It’s okay. She’s good but it’s not exactly what I was hoping the dark plum would smell like. It’s a pretty smell but has like mild florals and a not super noticeable dark plum kind of vibe so it’s just meh. I will say it’s about 8 hours later and where it was on my arms is totally non existent but my legs still have the scent lingering under my joggers. I just think for $30 it’s average at best. I don’t hate it but I just feel like there are so many more affordable options that smell great. Absorb just as well and the scent lasts equally as long for about a third of the price. So yeah.. not super disappointing or anything but very mid.

I'm a huge fan of scented body oil in general, especially during the winter. I apply them right after showering at night, on damp skin and it's like aromatherapy at bedtime. Native SPA oil has been my favorite oil of all the different brands I've tried. I love everything about it - the viscosity (not too thick (looking at you Saltair), not too thin (looking at you Neutrogena), the easy squeeze dispenser (looking at you Nuxe, with your awkward square glass bottle that threatened to slip out of my oily hands and shatter on the floor) and the scent - sophisticated and complex. I originally bought the Quinoa scent and loved it so much that I got the Black Plum, Plum, and Vanilla scents. I like them all (and plan on also getting the Acai) and love being able to choose a different scent each night, depending on my mood.

The oil as a method of skin hydration 5/5. It is smooth and fast absorbing. I dont feel oily residue left over after rubbing it in. It mixes well with my body lotions and dusting powder and leaves me skin very soft and lasts at leasts 2 days. The oil as a method of scent layering 3/5. I dont think this smells like vanilla at all initially. There's a slight almost alcohol smell initially but when you rub it in and let it set there is a very faint and fleeting sweet vanilla smell. I got into body oils to start scent layering and have been pairing this with a strawberry scented perfume and a sweeter floral perfume. It dampers the perfumes sweetness which is nice but I wouldn't say it gives the overall "omg you smell so good" vibe thay ive gotten with other body oils and layering scents. Definitely more sublte. Overall it's okay but I wouldn't pay almost $30 for it again.

This smells amazing and feels so soft and hydrating. It smells like a nice mature perfume.
