Best kelp powder
Repeated purchase. Tastes the best. Wish it was a little bit cheaper though…

Does contain MSG
MSG makes broth tasty but I try to avoid . I do like this the taste and ease of use , makes a nice cup of soup with miso .

Nice seaweed flavor.
This is a product thats mostly labeled in I think Korean but the basics info is on it in english. Not too hard to figure out how to use, add one packet to about 3 cups water, I love it for making my own ramen.

Great Umami addition
I use this "konbu" powder for cooking many Japanese dishes, but also I add it into my soup. It doesn't matter what ethnic soup I am cooking, this konbu dashi makes the soup flavorful. I am glad that I can buy this product online.

Bad Ingredients / NO REFUND !!!
1. Has mostly MSG and requires notification in California of cancer causing ingredients. I did not see any English in the product images nor any ingredients list in the description. 2. NO RETURN OR REFUND! I am as upset at Amazon as I am at this company for failure to remedy this situation. I do not think I should be accountable for not understanding the Japanese labeling. Badly done Amazon and SHIMAYA!

Like to use as a favor soup starter. Every about the ingredients is in another language. I watch salt intake, but does taste salty. But really don’t knoe

Reordered several times. I like it more than the previous brands I used.

Perfect for miso soup!
I use one packet in ~1.7 liters of water (~7 cups). Add a generous amount of miso paste and boom, perfect miso soup. If too strong, add a bit more water to the bowl after dished out.
